Swing It Millie! (animation) by The-Directors-Cut Swing It Millie! (animation) by The-Directors-Cut
Here is a animation test I was doing of the character Millie. Getting ready to put out some good stuff! If you want more information about the character, here is a link to the original concept art!

She is a little more naked in this animation than in the concept. That is cuz I didn't get around to making the outfit yet. Hopefully another animation will be posted eventually where she has her show mare clothing.

Anyway. I actually have a video version where she is actually dancing to some music. I decided to do something humorous. I did the editing on the audio myself.

While you're there you might wanna drop a like on the page to see more shit like it. Thanks mates! Feel free to leave a comment about how shitty you think my animation is!

If you like that style, I tend to work with it like... A LOT. Two of my upcoming projects are going to be exclusively in this style. I also have a few more like it throughout my gallery if you like it...
all... Dancing...
I need to do something other than dancing.

Oh, will you really? This happens to be one of the types of styles I like.

Alright then! Maybe I'll take a look around your old/dancing-themed art sometime.

Yeah most certainly.
It seems to be a re-occurring theme in my work is ambivalent nostalgia for long past times.
I hope to maybe do an animation in the style of the 80s. But I don't know if I'd use an 80s style of animation per se though...
I actually hate the way 80s animation looked, but rather I love the culture, stylings, music history of the time so maybe it will be 80s esque?
Either way I will be working a lot with this style in the coming weeks.
Hell, I am working with it right now!

Not a bad thing to dig into history, man. Yeah, 80s style animation isn't the best. Pshhh, you're going up and down on things! I do that often too.

It's good testing out with styles! I should explore more styles myself, now that I think about it. Well, you go work on that! Good luck!

Well, I was wondering how did you create those smooth transition.

Well making an animation smooth is much easier with puppets. I use puppets for most of my animation. It avoids any distortion that may happen when working frame by frame.

But I do still use some frame by frame, mostly for special effects and odd occasions.
